Grey heron - awkward, elegant, beautiful - surrounded by the energies of water and air. I am blessed to see the heron every day - big and stealthy - an essential part of my daily landscape. This painting shows the grace and majesty of this striking bird.
With its palette of blues, golds and turquoise greens, rich with textue and movement, the print has an almost oriental feel to it.
